Have been playing with some photos i took today, trying to figure out how to use textures in the best way. These are from paint the moon (Dancing light - bokehlicious and dreamy color), and they are really fab! So much fun! Ok, so the flowers are a bit wilted but hey, so what, kind a beautiful anyway!

Cant belive its over a year ago since i blogged the last time! Lots and lots of stuff has happened in my life and i am just full of new beginnings, so i renamed my blog!

I no longer scrap, at least not now, i hope i will get my mojo back someday but in the meantime i am just enjoying all of your art that is out there! You all create such beautiful stuff, i am amazed!

I will soon update my blog some more, just need to fix some bits and pieces here and there first!

Our garden..

As i have told you before, i am not a garden girl, i do not have any green fingers what so ever, but that doesnt mean i dont like the beauty of a garden! I did walk around in our garden yesterday and took some shots of some pretty flowers and some other stuff. Think mostly its weeds but they look rather beautiful to me!

We have a pond with lots of water-lilys (wich isnt in bloom right now) and some other things floating around..and that fountain looks rather old and needs some work i think.

and because we have a pond we have a garden full of these little creatures...they are tiny, not larger than my thumbnail! One morning when i got up and went out to go to the bus, the garden was full of them, i couldnt put my feet down anywhere without the risk of slatering a frog! Must have been the moment they decided to move away from home! We still have a lot of them though, if you stay still and watch out over the grass you will see them jumping here and there!

I also managed to pick 1,9 kg of these babies (redcurrants) yesterday...they look so yummy but i really dont know what to do with them...so i put them in the freezer until i might have some more berrys and fruits so i can make me some lemonade or jam or something. Any suggestions?

This is actually one of the flowers that is supposed to be in the garden (i think *lol*)

This little guy (bigger than the frogs) is packing up his lunch, i got to vitness when he caught and killed a bug and then he started to roll it in to his web until he had a nice little lunchbox ready!

weeds again...

we have these big big ferns on the side of the house...gorgeous when they are green...hiddius when they starts to wither! Dont know if we should keep them or not.

we also found this little guy...and i had to go google him, its a Limax maxius (or panthersnail(slug?) in swedish, dont know the english word for it...looks more like leopard than panther to me though). Apparently its good to have him in the garden! So he can stay!

The blackberrys are coming along quite nicely! Not gonna have as much as last year though cuz i have cut a lot of them down cuz they are taking over the garden!

And finally i took a shot off the field "next door"...they look so beautiful!

and Bella took one as well...you can feel the movement in this shot, she is good with the camera my little girl!

Having the best time

Yay...my sister is home and we are having a fab time! Its so nice to see her again after almost a year. Our kids are getting along just great, Bella and Freya has developed their own little language a mix between english and swedish, but really...its sounds like, ha ha ha i cant even describe it...like the swedish chef in the muppetshow or something! And Kian has become so big, he was just a baby the last time i saw him...and now he can count to 10...geez, the time flies!

We had a lovely midsummer and i have lots of pics to show later on (not in my camera) but i will show you our girls, they were running around like snow white chasing our brothers boy, cuz he is of course the prince...and they actually stopped so we can get a photo of them..a rare moment, standing still! These three are just a few days apart...so fun to see them play together! I promise more pics later on, maybe even one of my sis and me! ;)

In the middle of all of this, the designers at CatScrap released a Catwalk collection with some amazing colors, it is so fun to mix and match all these yummy products (btw, there is a challenge on the CatScrap blog right now, were you can win a gc for $10 to the CatScrap store, just by mixing and matching some of these fab stuff from the Catwalk!)

So much has happened...

since the last time i wrote anything on this blog. We have gotten 13 new amazing CT members at CatScrap and i am so happy! They are all doing a fabulous job and its great to see all these gorgeous pages filling up the gallery!

Not only that, we have gotten 3 new designers as well...Roben-Marie, Leora Sandford and K Studio! CatScrap is just blooming, and i love it! Just wish i had more time so i could scrap with all the goodies that are in the shop right now! We also have an amazing guest designer for the month of June: Cinnamon Designs!

A new designer..

Here are some scrapping news...we have a new designer over @ CatScrap! Our very own CT member Peppermint has shifted side, she is now a CatScrap Designer "One Little Bird" and her stuff is just beautiful! Here is one layout I did with her "In the moment" kit, this is for our CT Spotlight this month...we are lifting the very talanted Crystalbella77...so if you feel like it, please come and join!

FruitLoOp Sally has a new kit out as well, "Milk and Honey"...this is a very soft and beautiful kit and was so fun to play with, here are two pages I made:

And Dawn Inskip have a collab with Kaye Winiecki, "Zodiac", fun fun fun!!

This is my scrapping news for now. On another note I have joined the 365project, but since I know myself I am doing it weekly...so that it may not be a picture a day but it sure is pictures from that week! And I am soo lucky to have got a new camera...a Canon 450D..with EF-S 18-55/3,5-5,6 IS and EF-S 55-250/4-5,6 IS and a Speedlite 270 EX...my gosh....I hardly dare to touch it! I soo need to learn how this works so I can start shoting some gorgeous photos!!

A new year and a...

new blog. Had to do some refreshing after seeing my sisters new and oh so cute blog! The new year has started out cold! Its been a long time since it was this cold in a winter in our parts of sweden.

Just thought that I should show you some photos of Bella from Christmas eve, she has a new look...her tounge is out as soon as she see the camera!

And the new year started the same...with her tounge out! LOL! Oh well...I am not to happy about having my picture taken either so I understand her!

But she can be quite cute when she doesnt notice that I have my camera on.

Since its been so cold we had to find stuff to do inside, she has given me a show with her hand puppets...nothing wrong with her imagination!

But of course, we have been outside playing in the snow as well, she loves it!

We had to take care of our little birds in the garden as well...they are really trying hard to find something to eat and was so so happy when we gave them some food...think we got some friends for life!

Ok I sooo know I haven´t been updating my blog for ages but the days have been flying away and I have been working on the weekends to, so there just havent been time to do all that I want to do.

But I just wanted to take this oppertunity to say that I am sooo blessed to have gotten to know so many of you this past year. its been a pleasure! And I am so sorry that I haven´t been doing a lot of commenting on your gorgeous pages or your blogs. I will try to do better next year!

Bella is 3!

Wow..can you belive it...Bella is 3 years old!! Her birthday was November 12th and the morning started by us singing for her to wake her up, we had a little cake and all (her dad and me) and lets just say...naaa...she did NOT like to wake up like that, maybe it was our singing or just the fact that all the attention was on her! She is a bit shy right now.

Then we took her to her room and there we had put all the presents on the floor, but she had absolutely no intrest in opening them so she went down the stairs to watch some telly instead, what a bummer, I was sooo curious about what she was gonna say when she open them.
After a while she agreed to go upstairs again and start open her presents. And when she finally started then it went quick!

This is what she got from us, her parents, and furniture to, and she really really loved it!!

So ever since, we have to play with the dollhouse every day..and actually..I am just as excited as she is...so we have lots of fun!

Then came Saturday and we had a party for her with all of her family...she got her purple cake as she wanted...

and grandma even got her to blow out the candles, wich she did not want to do at first.

and of course she got lots and lots of presents, and this one is definetly one of her favorites...a lion costume from her cousins in Oman...Freya (who had a 3rd birthday the 16th...Congrats to you to sweetie) and Kian...how cute is she??

I could problaby just fill this post up with pics from her birthday but I wont...so here are some scrapping news as well:

My confession...and Bellas new room!

Ok guys...I have a confession to make...here it is:

The journaling says: "Hi, my name is Annika...Im an addict.. scrappingaddict! And right now I am going through withdraw cuz I have gotten my self a job and can no longer sit in front of my laptop all day or when ever I feel like it. Now I need to find some time and then I need to have my mojo with me, unfortunatly that is not always the case!

You know when you have that little time left inbetween cooking dinner, washing dishes and having some special playtime with your child and your mojo doesnt show up...it drives me nuts!! You just sitand stare at the blank page and nothing shows up, you go through your photos..but naaaaAfter work I am to tired, in the weekends my SO doesnt want me to sit by the computer..nor does my dd...and all I can think about is my next LO.. all the new fab designs that is showing up that you just would love to play with. All the challenges you would like tojoin, all the friends you have made all over the world that you would love to sit down andchat with....I MISS IT!!!

But hey...one day or another it will come back..you will have thetime, you will have the mojo and make lots of pages and take lots of new photos so youhave something to play with. And the fact is...I have gotten my self a job..I earn my ownmoney, I have got some new friends IRL and I have somekind of selfworth again...somaybe it aint that bad..maybe I just have to wait and it will come back or I will find myplace in this new world of mine and then also find some time for what I really love...digiscrapping...its my therapy.my way to relax! So yes...I am an addict...and I love it!"

I have finally gotten my dds room finished...it has taken a while, but now its almost perfect, just want some paintings on the wall and other small stuff that needs to come up, but other then that it is done!!

And she is getting a big dollhouse for her birthday November 12th...that is gonna be just right in that room...dont think she ever leave that room again (its hard to get her to kindergarten now let me tell you), and yes...mamma´s gonna love it to!! *lol*

Soooo sorry, I feel like I have to apologize to all of you my gorgeous friends...I feel aweful that Im not keeping up with your blogs, leaving comments on your pages and so on! I will try to do better...just have to get in to working again...and have some time to my family...and to renovate the house...and to scrap...and to blog *lol*...can someone fix some more hours in the day...pleeeease!!

Ok...pinch me..I am dreaming!! I got a mail from Amanda Taylor (TaylorMadeDesigns) asking me if I wanted to join her CT...well..I told her I had to think about it long and hard....NOT...of course I said YES YES YES!!! Its such an honor, I have always admired Amanda, both her stuff and her pages..such a talanted designer and sweet person. I have already had a WARM welcome by her other CTmembers and I saw so many familiar faces so I felt right at home! I no longer have to be jealous of my sister :) Thank you soo much Amanda for this oppertunity, I hope I wont let you down!

And yes....I have already had a go with some of her amazing stuff. This is the new collab between TMD and Leora Sanford..."Autumn Florish", even if this first page doesn´t feel that autumny (is that a word? lol), I managed to get a photo of Bella in profile...so I made a page about her two faces...sometimes so so sweet and telling me she loves me and so on...and the next...a MONSTER appears and a lot of...NOOOO...I CAN...I WANT TO...is coming out of her mouth!!! Well she is soon to be 3 so I guess its normal!

and...the summer is over...time to put your hat on again (and you actually love it)!

Its been a while...

since my last blogpost,but oh my...time flies, can you belive that it´s soon to be October?! I can´t. Actually we have had great weather (besides the last few days) so it has felt like summer not fall.

I am still enjoying my new job and Bella seems to have accepted that she is going to have to stay longer days at kindergarten, well...she still clings to me when I drop her of and don´t want me to leave, but when it´s time for her daddy to pick her up, she´s all...."Daddy...please can I just play a little while before we go home", so I guess she is just fine!

And I actually got some time to scrap as well....we have a new fab designer over @ CatScrap. Joyce Paul. Her stuff is amazing, so easy and fun to play with, I can honestly say that none of these pages took me more than 30 min to make!

And then Fruit LoOp Sally has released some new stuff as well. This first page is about Bellas favorite song at the moment, actually she wants me to tell it to her as a story when she goes to bed. Its about a little boy that goes out in the forrest to pick blueberrys and he wants a friend cuz he feels lonely and gets really really happy when a bear comes along *lol*...she loves it. And I got so inspired so I might even do a songbook for her with all of her favorites?!

And this one I found an old picture from when we took Bella on her first racing, she was only 10 months old...she loved the cars but hated those earmuffs or what you call them!

I actually have scrapped some more but those I have to wait to show you, the kits are not released yet. I am in such an awe over all of these talanted designers...amazing stuff, soooo happy I get to play with it!!

Ok, sorry I haven´t updated this blog in a while...but as I said in my former post, I hoped I had some good news this time and I have...I have got a JOB!!!! WooHoo...I am now a working mom for the first time in my life, wich means I haven´t had a job for nearly 3 years..OMG!

I now work in a shoeshop, selling fabulous shoes, look here, these and Rieker shoes are the ones we specialises in! But I am not only working in the shop I am also working in the office, and will be doing our homepage amongst other things...its gonna be soo much fun!

But I am a bit out of practise so I am totally exhausted when I get home, so it has not been much scrapping lately!

But Nina has released some new stuff, these gorgeous mask I just had to play with, and they were so easy to work on!

I have used 2 of the masks in this page, and also her new kit.....

....cozy.days, with such gorgeous colors and autumfeeling...really feels cozy!

and Vinnie released a new fun kit called "Scrib Scrub" , a bathing kit...absolutely love those waterdrops...they are amazing!!!

September all ready??

Where did this summer go? Seems like it was June yesterday! Oh well...all though I like the summer...I just LOVE the fall, if the weather is nice that is. Clear fresh air and beautiful colors outside and the opportunity to just sit in the sofa, read a good book, drink hot tea and just be cozy and warm...can´t wait!

But until then I settle for playing with all of these colors!! As it is a new month, we have a new guest designer at CatScrap, Leonora Sanford and she has teamed up with Creashens and Lynne-Marie to create a fantastic collab, so fun and colorful!! Just look here:

As soon as I saw the kit I knew it was time to take the finger paint out of the box and let Bella play as much as she liked...and well...she LOVED it!! I got some great photos out of it and of course I scrapped away! This one got an GSO @ DST today, YAY!

And I just love this picture of Bella...it is sooo her!! I had to do a journling page about her love for her PURPLE backpack so we wont forget this sweet moment!

Lynne-Marie did release some fantastic smileys as well, and I just had to do a page about our day...those fun yellow little guys reminded me of all of Bellas moods...so well..here is a page about our day:

Gardentime...(looong post)

Ok, Im gonna admit it...I have NO green fingers and is not very interested in gardenwork. But when we bought a house, a big big garden came along! So now I am trying to learn and trying to get to like the fact that I have to do some gardenwork from now on.

The garden is full of fruits and berrys right now and some of them are looking rather delicious! Just look at these blackberries...(all tangled in by all of these darn nettles that is everywere!!)

And then we have a garagewall full of grapes...what am I going to do with these?? Cant just eat them all and you cant freeze them can you? Juice maybe? *lol* I soo suck at this

And the other day I walked around in the garden and found these little guys...think its called Cherryplums?! Have never seen them before, but they are kind a cute and I read on the net that the tree is gorgeous when it blossoms!

Of course there is the usual fruits...like lots of apples and...

lots of pears!

Actually there is not a lot of flowers in this garden, mostly pinetrees and other trees, but we have a few...a rose, big one, climbing high on a wall.

And this beautiful one...hydrangea hortensia? Its both pink, blue and purple in the same bush? Love it!

And our pond is just getting greener and greener...the waterlilys just spreads all over! We have found 4 fishes...dont know how they have survived cuz they aint getting any food from us or the former owner..but in the other hand, we dont have much mosquitos here :)

And that fountain really needs to be fixed, its spraying all over the place!

This tree I fell in love with instantly...it looks like something out of an horror movie...something that comes alive at night and chases you with its looong sad arms *lol*

And then...we have the ivy...all over the wall!! Does anybody know if its good for the house or if its damaging the wall? We dont know yet if we want to take it all down or what we shall do, if you have any suggestions, please give them to me!!

There are sooo many birds living inside of this...a whole colony I think!

And if you try to take it down, its gonna take the paint , and pieces of the wall with it...looks ugly, like under this window!

But eventually I probably get the hang of it, this garden thingy...luckily I have a mother that knows what to do, so I think I need to get some lessons in gardening!!

Ok, I wont bore you with my garden no more. But I have to show you these photos of Bella! She got an purple backpack from her "mormor" (my mother) yesterday and she L O V E S it....wont put it away no matter what!

YAY! It feels so good to be back online and connected to the outer world and all my friends again! I have missed you sooo much!

I don´t know where the time goes, I cant belive that it has been a month since my sister and her family got home for their vacation here in Sweden and now they are back in Oman again!!! We have had a lot of fun even if the weather was a bit rainy (actually think they were happy to get out of the heat and sun for a while). We (Maria) have taken A LOT of photos and you will probably see them for a while since we both are scrappers! But I will try to show some here on the blog later on as well.

As I said, it feels good to be back online, and be able to get all the new hot products that is coming out. There is gonna be such a party over @ Catscrap later this month, and you are gonna be blown away with all the gorgeous stuff that is coming and all the sales! You don´t wanna miss the party!!!

But for now Creashens, Something Blue Studios and K-studio have made a fab collab called "About" and it is absolutely packed with goodies! Just look here:

I hate having my picture taken but felt like I needed a new photo of me to do this kit justice (and everyone else has made such gorgeous pages with new beautiful photos of themselfs) so I took the camera and went outside I shot it myself...lets just say...thank god for Lightroom, Christian O´Dells presets and cropping *LOL*

Otherwise it is a lot about the house for the moment, and the garden! Yesterday I went and bought me a wheelbarrow and of course Bella wanted one to...so here are some photos of my little gardner:

Just wanted to let you know that the move went well and we are now in the new house. Bella has adjusted just fine and is loving the fact that we have a garden! The house is up side down right now and will probably be for a while a head since we are doing some serious renovating!

What is not fine though..is the fact that we still DONT have any internet and no TV, but I hope the internet issue is fixed by the end of next week!

Lucky that my sister is home otherwise I dont know what I would have done!!

say that my internet is working again or do I jinx it then? I honestly cant imagine a life without internet, you feel so lost, I am so used to just going online to check all kinds of stuff, mail, and of course be active on my CTs and just be up to date on what is going on!!

Nina has released a new beautiful kit that I got to play with this morning, such an easy kit to work with, just my kind of kit actually!

And just to honor our (Ninas CT) newest cheerleader that is the queen of blending, yup girl, you know who you are ;) , I had to do a blending page with these fab papers! And guess what, I got an Standing O @ Oscraps and an GSO @ DST!!! How great isn´t that, Im soo happy, and that page took me like 20 min to do! Just shows how great and easy Ninas stuff is to work with!!

And I have made a page with some stuff from Vinnie Pearce @ Catscrap as well, this is a photo of my niece who is soon to be 6 yo, we had been on the beach all day and I managed to take this photo of her when she didn´t notice, and I love how it turned out, she is a true beauty, isn´t she?!!

My sister and her family has arrived in Sweden, YAY!!!, she is finally home and it was so great to see her again, and the kids are growing up soo fast. Of course Bella and Freya hit it off straight away as if they haven´t been apart since her last visit. Its just the language that is a bit of a problem but they will figure it out soon enough I think. You will probably see a lot of photos from this visit, cause I have seen Marias new camera...OMG..what a camera, cant wait to try it!!

Otherwise I am still packing, gonna be out of the apartment by the end of this month, and we are working on the new house as much as possible, have been tearing out some old carpets to get to the wooden floors, let me tell you, that is a LOT of nails to pull out!!!

Exciting news!!

We have bought a house!!! This was the news I didn´t wanna share with you until it was signed sealed and delivered! Didn´t wanna jinx it. But now everything is signed AND delivered, we can move in and start making this our home!! Its a house from 1936 so there are a lot of stuff to do, but we love the feel of it and think it´s gonna look absolutely GORGEOUS when we are done with it!! The garden is big and very park like, with a pond that has fishes, frogs, fountain and lots of water-lilys!

I really cant wait to get started! The very thought of making a beautiful room for Bella is exciting alone, but to be able to design a new kitchen and bathrooms...that will be sooo much fun!! Im sure I will bore you all with this for a long time ahead! *lol*

A new week and some new goodies. Nina has a new gorgeous kit out in the store @ Oscraps right now, called you.my.angel, just beautiful colors and gorgeous elements! She also has two new templates! So go to her store to check it all out!!

Here are two pages I made with this new fab kit, soooo fun to play with!! (but I am NOT really sure you can call Bella an Angel *lol*)

This one is with her template nr 12, a bit altered and a lot inspired by sis (Maria Ws) page "Size 25" wich I think is gorgeous!

Wow, the designer sure have been busy, I had a hard time catching up after my little vacation, but I have managed to make some pages!

I am as you all know in the CT for Catscrap and made a ISO thread in our forum there, I wanted some white alphas that would stand out on a page, and why not a white kit? Lynne-Marie said she would give it a go. And OMG did she ever, look at this amazing kit she came up with, its soo gorgeous and I know I will use this kit over and over again! Thank you sooo much Lynne-Marie!

The papers are beautiful each and every one of them! Totally in love!!!

And the alpha is to drop dead gorgeous!!! It looks exactly like I had picture them in my mind!!

Here is one page I did, since I love the alpha so much I didn´t want to use a font here. I have made one more but I will show you that one next week, its in the next blogchallenge @ Catscrap.

Creashens have made a new gorgeous kit, perfect for weddingpages, but since I am not married I used it for something else...can you guess what?? *lol*

Yup, you guessed right...my sweet Bella, just 4 month old, my...the times flies!!!

And over @ Oscraps NinaScrap Designs has also released some new gorgeous stuff, she has made some amazing actions for you that is using PS, but I only have PS Elements so sadly I cant use them, but run over to her shop to grab them, they rock!! She also has a new template in the shop:

We had a wonderful time on our little vacation this past weekend. I dont think I looked at the time at all, it was a really relaxing time, no computer, no tv...just the family around the fireplace in the evenings, talking about nothing and everything. Bella really enjoyed to be able to run around in the garden, and wanted to do so naked *lol* but it did hurt her little feets to run in the gravel so the boots came on!

Our neighbours was curious of what we were doing and was standing by the fence when we were in the garden!

We have a lot of flowers in the garden, wich Bella loved, she picked flowers everyday!

And of course I had to play with some macro shots!

I am doing a short blogpost today...just to show you my cute dd. Yesterday was the day I was sooo nervous about but it all went by just great! Bella got druged and looked sooo drunk and was all smiles, and when the dentist asked her to open her mouth wide...she rrrrrooooaaarrrd and said..."I am going to eat you" and then laughed, and yes...so did the rest of us!! She looks totally adorable and cheeky...doesn´t she?!

I am going to be MIA for a few days now, its midsummer and we are going to our summerhouse in Söderköping: and I will NOT take my laptop with me...need to relax a bit! But I will be back on Monday! Have a great weekend you all...and Happy Midsummer to you that is celebrating that!!!

My poor little girl!!!

Yesterday was just one of those days...first I couldn´t take my hurting foot no more so I went to the ER and got it checked up. I have been in pain for over 2 weeks now, at first I just thought it was my regular pain from my fms (fibromyalgia) but it has gotten worse everyday. But no...they couldn´t find anything so I am still in pain!! (probably is my fms then)

And then in the afternoon I went to the dentist with Bella, couse her front tooth has started to turn grey (at the age of 1 she fell and chipped her tooth and now almost 1,5 year later its turning grey) and the dentist took one look at it and said...it has to come out!!!! So next week (wednesday) the are going to drug my little girl and pull her front tooth out, I am NOT looking forward to this, they said it could be a bit scary for the parent to see their child that druged, and I am a softy...I almost start crying just thinking about it! Not only that but then she is going to be without a front tooth for what...4 years?..before the next one comes along. Bella Bella Bella...I soooo hope she wont be in pain or feel discomfort being without it!! (she probably is going to look very cute and cheeky *lol*, it´s going to fit her personality well) but I worry anyway...it´s my little girl you know!!!

Ok..enough of my troubles...

Nina has some new stuff in the store @ Oscraps. She has made a beautiful kit called "Symphony" and she has a new template out as well, just as beautiful!! I made a page with it and posted it in my gallerys...and guess what..it has made it to GSO @ DST...YAY!!!

And Dido Design has released some new beautiful templates and we, in her CT, have used them when we did our AAM pages, here is mine:

Welcome BOB and a little historylesson....

After looking through the amazing gallery we have over at Catscrap I knew that we should do something to recognise all of you in a special way.

So...CatScrap Team members will pick two pages from our gallery (Catscraps) each day and showcase them in the forum. And at the end of the month we will name one BOB. BOB stands for Best Of Best (an award being given at cat shows ). The one that will be picked as BOB will be given a blinkie to show off with and in the end of the year, all of the BOBs will be shown again and receive something special!!

All of you that post your pages in Catscraps gallery are all such an inspiration every single day and I cant belive how much talant there is out there .

So watch out for BOB, cause he'll be coming your way soon!

Yesterday we "Turade", that means that we took the boat in Helsingborg and went over to Helsingör (Elsinore) (takes about 30 min) and back again and did that over...and over.....we stayed at the boat in a restaurant and had a "Champagne brunch" that was lovely. It is a very known thing here in Skåne (Scania) to "Tura" but my inlaws are from Gothenburg so they had never done it before.

The food was fantastic and the buffé had everything you could possibly want from a brunch, and to top it of, there was "american" pancakes with honey and fruite...sooo yummy.

When you arrive in the Elsinore harbour you can see Kronborg, its a castle that was buildt in 1574-1585 and is also known all over the world from Shakespeare's Hamlet as "Hamlet´s castle".

It is truly beautiful!!

And when we got back to Helsingborg we went for a walk to go and see "Kärnan" (means The Core) It is the only part remaining of a larger Danish (Scania used to be Danish) fortress which, along with the fortress Kronborg on the opposite of Öresund, controlled the entranceway to the Baltic Sea. Both records and archaeological proof have traced the structure to the early 13th century and you can really feel the history when you take a walk in these surroundings.

And these beautiful stairs that was buildt in 1899-1903 just frames it all up gorgeously!

Just amazing architecture, and here you have Helsingborgs "City hall" (buildt in 1897) just as beautiful as the others!!

And this is the man that lead the Swedish army to victory and reclaimed Scania to Sweden, Magnus Stenbock.

Ok...LOL...so this was a little history from my part of Sweden. Hope I didn´t bored you to death, just wanted to show you some pics from yesterday!

Just look at this amazing pack he just released over @ Catscrap...I know, he is an amazing photographer as well and that helps a lot but the presets DO work wonders even on my photos (but I do need a new camera) and it is sooo fun to play with a photo that is just ready for the trashbin, and suddenly you love it just because the great preset....A M A Z I N G!!!!

Baking inspiration!

After reading my friend Helens blog this morning I was totally inspired to do some baking with Bella, and since it was raining when we got home from kindergarten we gave it a go. When I asked her if she wanted to bake some chocolateballs she just...yay...NOW...wanna bake NOW, here are some pics:

I had made it a little bit easy, by measuring everything before hand in smaller bowles.

Of course you wanted to tase the batter and asked if you could take a small small piece

This is what she looked like when I told her that she had to wait to eat more until the balls were done, a tiny bit upset! *lol*

She did take this job very seriously and voila!...look..here is the final result:

CT Spotlight and a boattrip

This month Eva is in the CT Spotlight over at Catscrap, she is truly one of a kind, I am in awe of her layouts and her photos, she is such an amazing photographer, all of her photos looks so sharp and crisp and just....sigh...gorgeous!! Wanna be like her when I grow up!! So the CT asked her a few questions and then we lifted her pages, let me tell you, there are some gorgeous pages to lift and the lifts turned out amazing as well. Now to something else, last night we went on a little boat trip with my brother, his SO and his DD, who is my daughters big idol, everything Alicia does...Bella copies, and they have so much fun together! We took a ride along the river in Ängelholm...Rönne å...and it was beautiful, a bit windy in the harbour but the furter down the river we got the calmer it became. We had a picknick with us and it was just a wonderful way to spend a Mondayevening. Bella hadn´t slept after kindergarten because she and I had been in a park all day playing on the swings and running around looking at goats, rabbits, birds, pigs and all other kinds of animals that they have in that park, I really did think she would fall a sleep in the boat but she had soo much fun playing with Alicia so no...we got back at 21.30 and let me tell you...we washed her up, put her to bed and after 5 min she was asleep!!!

It was Bellas first time in a lifejacket and she was sooo cute!

They really liked looking out over the river, and Bella was sure that there was sharks, crocodiles and beasts in the water!! *lol*

Let me tell you, this last photo is sooo gonna be scrapped, I love the expressions on there faces...pure joy and happiness! They really have a good time together even if there is four years between them.

Weekend again!

Oh my...time flies, I feel kind of stressed out these days and I don´t know why, seems like time just flies by and I dont have time to do all the things I need to do and all the things I want to do (like updating this blog more often) is just like the blink of an eye and ooops...3 hours has gone...blink...ooops..another 3 hours gone, think I need some serious relaxing!!

I cant wait untill July when my sister is coming home...she and I has plans of getting some time alone to do some shopping, scrapping and just relax and the men has to take care of the children! I know we are going to have so much fun and I need that right now!

On a happier note...my friend Diana (Dido) has started her own design and is now selling over @ After Five Designs..congrats to you Diana! She has some fab templates out now and I am honored that she has asked me to be apart of her team and here are some pages I have created with her beautiful templates! And if you like her style...I know she has a CT call out right now...why not apply?!

Im a old "tant"

Bella has started to call me "tant"(old lady in swedish), she says, -can you please help me down "tanten" or -Thank you so much "tanten" that was nice of you...and so on. And as from yesterday...I am a "tant"...I turned 35, now my younger days officially is over! I can no longer call my self a youth, how sad isn´t that?? *lol* but I really dont mind, dont feel a day older than 20 and that is whats counts right?!! (Please say yes!) ;)

I had a really nice birthday, I started the day with a treasurehunt that my SO had made for me, he had left me little notes all over the appartment, (he was out of town for a couple of days but wanted me to have my present anyway), I finally found the present hidden in one of the fireplaces (or tilestoves or what they are called?) it was a perfume, Gio de Armani, wich I love, but the thing was, I got that for christmas as well and had lots left, so today I went out and exchanged it for some new clothes instead (with his blessing of course). And later on my mother came over and had made a fantastic lunch for all of us, it was GI food (is it called that in english?) and it was sooo good, but to top it off she had bought me a cake, a Princesscake, my favourite (Yes Helen, Princess A has her own cake *lol*), it´s a green marsipancake with a pink rose on top! Yummy!! And Bella of course sang "Happy birthday" like 358 times *lol*...she is so sweet...and she always top it off with a big HURRAY!

Now lets leave my birthday and go on to some scrapping news! Nina has released 4 new items in the store today and they are fab, so run over to our Rocking girls blog and check it out, or why not directly to the store!! I made a page that has all 4 of the new items in it, and I was sooooo happy to se that it made the GSO @ DST! Always fun when you get noticed!

I have such a difficulty to make a page, my mojo has left the building, I am all alone by my computer and I don´t seem to be able to make anything! So this morning I complained to my sister and she gave me a challenge, to lift this beautiful page by lenescobar and this is my result:

And I really liked how it turned out, and thought "YES I am back", but do you think that I have been able to make another page today??? Nooooooo! It is soo frustrating, I have photos that I took a few days ago, but nothing comes to me. I have gorgeous templets to use, but no, can´t do that either. Ok, think I might just leave it for a while and wait for my mojo to come home again, and sit here beside me and help me! ;)

Wow...I got a million!! ;)

Yesterday I was sitting and complaining over the fact that I need/want money so I can buy the house of my dreams, so I asked Bella ,who was sitting beside me playing with a jigsawpuzzle, -"You don´t have a million to give me?" and she looked at me with such a happy face and said -"yes I do have a million" and then she runs to her room and began to search all over the place. But after a while she comes to me and say -"Can´t find the million mamma, it has disappeard?!" and she looks soo sad. I give her a hug and tell her that mamma will be ok anyway! So she runs of to play. Several hours later I can hear her yelling -"Mamma mamma, I found it, I found the million" and she comes running to me with a little plastic MELON in her hand, and she looked soooo happy and so proud that my heart just melted and I was laughing soo hard....oh...my sweet little girl...she just gave me a million...reasons to love her even more!!!! (btw in swedish million and melon sounds really alike, miljon - melon)

New kit, a lift and a page for a friend!

The incredible Shen (Creashens) has done it once again, she has made a B E A U T I F U L kit called "Candid", this is a kit I know I will use over and over again (as so many of her kits), let me tell you there are some gorgeous elements in this kit and the papers are just....WOW. I really don´t know how she do it?!

Of course we got to play with it and here are my pages I have done so far:

We have got new team members at NinaScrap Designs CT so to get to know each other a little bit better we have been doing some photo swapping, I got to swap photos with Alyssa, and I got a fab selection to pick from and this is the photo I picked:

and since I just love Lightroom I had to play around a bit with this photo as well, and here is the result:

I hope she liked it......in fact I know she loved it *lol* and I can´t wait to see what she has done with the photos of Bella that I send to her! A fun challenge, nice to be scrapping something else for a change.

Empty shoes...

I have walked passed these shoes, standing in the hallway...empty, for the entire weekend, and just got this huge feeling of love and happiness every time I´ve seen them. It has been really relaxing to have a weekend all by my self, but gosh, I really really miss her. Its funny that you can´t wait to be alone and have some time to your self, but after only a couple of hours you feel the silence and emptyness in the apartment and wish it was filled with laughter again....ok, the tantrums I can live without, but its not them you remember, its the hugging, kissing and the "I love you mommy" and the catching laughter that you miss.

But she will come home today...YAY...can´t wait! These shoes will be filled with tiny feet again and the tantrums, jelling, and all the other fun stuff can begin ;)

I didn´t manage to scrap as much as I wanted this weekend, of course my mojo desides to leave me when I got the time to sit in front of the computer, but hey...I got to see lots of fun reruns on tv instead.

YAY....exciting news at Catscrap!

Remember I told you that I knew a secret...well here it is: We have a guest designer at Catscrap for the whole of May and it is the unbelievable Amanda Taylor from TaylorMade Designs. Love her work and it was so fun to play with her amazing kit, that she designed just for this guest spot, called Composure, great colorcombinations and amazing papers and elements.

But apparently this isn´t it, she has more planned for her stay, a challenge and a collab with the two very talanted designers Ida and Scarletheels, can´t wait to see it!!

And Catscrap is having a big sale this weekend in honor of NSD (National Scrapbook Day), 30% off storewide, runs through Friday May 1st to Sunday May 3rd, so come on over and shop!!!

I am all alone this weekend, my dd is in Gothenburg with her father, visiting her grandparents, so I am going to take this oppertunity to sleep and scrap...but I would lie if I said I didn´t miss her sooo much already!

The weather is still amazing here, today we have had 25 c and we aren´t even in May yet!! Bella is still home from kindergarten because of her eyeinfection, the infection doesnt bother her, the fact that she can´t go and play with all her friends is definetly bothering her!! So today I decided to go for a looong walk thru the forest down to the beach, just to have something to do and let her run some of her extra energy off!

But when we were getting dressed to go outside the struggle started, she didn´t want to have only a dress on...nope...long sleeves and thights underneath and then she went bananas over the fact that I didn´t think she needed a jacket or a hat, but...nope...had to back down on that to, so she went out in this glorious weather looking like this:

Let me tell you, everyone we walked by was looking at me like...what did you think of when you got your little girl dressed today??? I mean, isn´t kids suposed to want to take their clothes off when its hot outside and not on? Anyway, she had a blast, every little thing she found was soooo interesting, sticks, stones, snails, ants...you name it, a real adventure!
Oh...and some snacks went down as well!

Ants is very hard to look at if you aren´t on the ground!

Yay!! On our way back she finally took off her jacket, but noooo...don´t touch my hat, not yet! But she gladly took off her shoes and I tried to explain that it might hurt to walk on the gravel but she said...nooooo it doesn´t hurt, I can walk, I promise!!
After a while...she looked like this....so the shoes wasn´t a bad idea after all! :)

Let me tell you, she really had a lot of extra energy and ran almost the whole way...we stayed out for almost 4 hours!!
When we got home she got an icecreme and was sitting in the kitchen doing silly faces, and this is one of her new ones...she has found out how to cross her eyes..and when she does it she says....ohh...look...two mommys!!! My silly little girl!!! Gosh I love her!!!

Ok, I had a fabulous sunday with absolutely gorgeous weather. My inlaws came for a visit and Bella was soo happy, she was talking about her grandmother (or "wauwau" as she calles her for some reason?) from the moment she woke up yesterday and wanted to sit in the window to see if she could see grandpas car coming!

We went to look at a house that we were intrested in, but no...didn´t get the right feeling for that one either..well well, just keep on looking, some day THE house will show up!

Afterwards we went to the beach, we had over 20 degrees C yesterday, real summerweather in april, so of course, Bella took her shoes off and ran down to the water, so "wauwau" went with her and they took a walk in the freezing water, Bella loved it!! I took some photos but totally forgot that I could have put them in my pc when we got home (took the photos with someone elses camera) so now I have to wait until I get them mailed to me.

My poor dd has also got an eyeinfection, she is really really red in her eye, feel so bad for her, but I hope she doesnt notice it to much, that it looks worse than it is. So she can´t go to kindergarten until her eye is ok again, and she soo wants to go, because she is fine otherwise so she dont understand why she have to stay at home?! Well we are going to her 2,5 yo check up today, so maybe they can give me something for the infection so we can get rid of it asap!!

I did manage to get some scrapping done as well last night, Nina has a new gorgeous kit out, love these papers, great colorcombinations, and I love the graphic feel of it, just look here:

I don´t know how she do it, but that woman just makes one gorgeous kit after another, she is so talanted! This time it is a really beachy kit, and I sure wish I had a lot of beach photos, but I think I have to hold on to this kit and wait ´til the summer starts here! I love those birds!! But of course, I couldn´t resist making one page (I always do my best work right when a kit is released) and this is a sunset down at the beach here in Ängelholm....so who needs Santa Cruz when you got this: ;)

I understand that my sister whants me to play along with her in a game in wich you have to show the first layout you ever made...hmmmm....I dont even know if I have that one saved, but I will look and come back!!

On my way to pick up my dd at her kindergarten I go through a forest, its a walk that takes me 20 min and I have always loved the peace and quiet, just some birds singing and maybe a squirrel running up and down a tree, so easy to clear your thoughts and just have time to breath and relax before my little monster is home again ;)

But look at this now...in just a week...my lovely walk looks like this :(

At least the have left some part of the forest alone, and just look how beautiful it is...it glows of "Vitsippor" or "Anemone nemorosa" as I think it is called.

Today I have done something unusual

I have always wondered why my sister complains about having to many photos to scrap whilst I complained having too few, but now I know what she means. When they were home for their visit we took loads and loads of photos, and they are gorgeous most of them, but now I don´t know wich ones to scrap? So today I decided to do something unusual, scrap a page with no Bella on it...a page that had a photo of...ok don´t faint...ME.

Besides scrapping we have been looking at a house today, and OMG....that was a house in need of an extreeeeeme makeover, or why not just tear it down, so NO, not a house for us...we have to keep looking! I sooo want a house now, with a garden that Bella can run around and lose some of her extra energy that she seem to have!
