Its Christmas time!

Ok I sooo know I haven´t been updating my blog for ages but the days have been flying away and I have been working on the weekends to, so there just havent been time to do all that I want to do.

But I just wanted to take this oppertunity to say that I am sooo blessed to have gotten to know so many of you this past year. its been a pleasure! And I am so sorry that I haven´t been doing a lot of commenting on your gorgeous pages or your blogs. I will try to do better next year!

Bella is 3!

Wow..can you belive it...Bella is 3 years old!! Her birthday was November 12th and the morning started by us singing for her to wake her up, we had a little cake and all (her dad and me) and lets just say...naaa...she did NOT like to wake up like that, maybe it was our singing or just the fact that all the attention was on her! She is a bit shy right now.

Then we took her to her room and there we had put all the presents on the floor, but she had absolutely no intrest in opening them so she went down the stairs to watch some telly instead, what a bummer, I was sooo curious about what she was gonna say when she open them.
After a while she agreed to go upstairs again and start open her presents. And when she finally started then it went quick!


This is what she got from us, her parents, and furniture to, and she really really loved it!!

So ever since, we have to play with the dollhouse every day..and actually..I am just as excited as she is...so we have lots of fun!

Then came Saturday and we had a party for her with all of her family...she got her purple cake as she wanted...

and grandma even got her to blow out the candles, wich she did not want to do at first.

and of course she got lots and lots of presents, and this one is definetly one of her favorites...a lion costume from her cousins in Oman...Freya (who had a 3rd birthday the 16th...Congrats to you to sweetie) and Kian...how cute is she??

I could problaby just fill this post up with pics from her birthday but I wont...so here are some scrapping news as well:

We have got a new fab templatedesigner at CatScrap...Fizzy Pop Designs...her templates are just gorgeous! And look at this kit, wich is a freebie from Peppermint..did not know that she was designing...love it!

Joyce Paul has released two new kits, and this one is a collab with Edeline Marta...called "Curiosity"

FruitLoOp Sally has some frosty bits for you...I just love her kits...you dont need a photo! Here is another page for that songbook I am putting together...this is a swedish wintersong. (click on the images for full credits)

Creashens has teamed up with K Studio to create this gorgeous kit called "Count on me". This page a did for the Right Accent Challenge over at the CatScrap Blog and I got a GSO for it YAY!

My confession...and Bellas new room!

Ok guys...I have a confession to make...here it is:


The journaling says: "Hi, my name is Annika...Im an addict.. scrappingaddict! And right now I am going through withdraw cuz I have gotten my self a job and can no longer sit in front of my laptop all day or when ever I feel like it. Now I need to find some time and then I need to have my mojo with me, unfortunatly that is not always the case!

You know when you have that little time left inbetween cooking dinner, washing dishes and having some special playtime with your child and your mojo doesnt show up...it drives me nuts!! You just sitand stare at the blank page and nothing shows up, you go through your photos..but naaaaAfter work I am to tired, in the weekends my SO doesnt want me to sit by the computer..nor does my dd...and all I can think about is my next LO.. all the new fab designs that is showing up that you just would love to play with. All the challenges you would like tojoin, all the friends you have made all over the world that you would love to sit down andchat with....I MISS IT!!!

But hey...one day or another it will come back..you will have thetime, you will have the mojo and make lots of pages and take lots of new photos so youhave something to play with. And the fact is...I have gotten my self a job..I earn my ownmoney, I have got some new friends IRL and I have somekind of selfworth again...somaybe it aint that bad..maybe I just have to wait and it will come back or I will find myplace in this new world of mine and then also find some time for what I really love...digiscrapping...its my therapy.my way to relax! So yes...I am an addict...and I love it!"

I have finally gotten my dds room finished...it has taken a while, but now its almost perfect, just want some paintings on the wall and other small stuff that needs to come up, but other then that it is done!!

And here are the after shoots (need I say that she LOOOOOVES it ;) ). She got to decide the color herself, and her favoritecolor is purple, so purple walls it is!! And she is getting a big dollhouse for her birthday November 12th...that is gonna be just right in that room...dont think she ever leave that room again (its hard to get her to kindergarten now let me tell you), and yes...mamma´s gonna love it to!! *lol*

-Ghosts are a bit shy, they wait untill you are asleep before they come out!

Im in the spotlight...

Soooo sorry, I feel like I have to apologize to all of you my gorgeous friends...I feel aweful that Im not keeping up with your blogs, leaving comments on your pages and so on! I will try to do better...just have to get in to working again...and have some time to my family...and to renovate the house...and to scrap...and to blog *lol*...can someone fix some more hours in the day...pleeeease!!

I know I am using old photos over and over again but haven´t got the time to take new ones...think I need to have a photosession with my dd some day soon!! But I thought of this picture as soon as I saw the blah blah wa...these two loves to sit and chat and laugh...how cute aren´t they?? :)

Its starting to get cold here now and I am a bit jelaous of my sis (who had a birthday yesterday btw...oct 13th...congrats!!!) they are having warm sunny weather....but I think she rather be home getting some fallweather...so maybe I just should embrace this weather and get some warmer clothes instead *lol*

TMD!!!!!!!

Ok...pinch me..I am dreaming!! I got a mail from Amanda Taylor (TaylorMadeDesigns) asking me if I wanted to join her CT...well..I told her I had to think about it long and hard....NOT...of course I said YES YES YES!!! Its such an honor, I have always admired Amanda, both her stuff and her pages..such a talanted designer and sweet person. I have already had a WARM welcome by her other CTmembers and I saw so many familiar faces so I felt right at home! I no longer have to be jealous of my sister :) Thank you soo much Amanda for this oppertunity, I hope I wont let you down!

And yes....I have already had a go with some of her amazing stuff. This is the new collab between TMD and Leora Sanford..."Autumn Florish", even if this first page doesn´t feel that autumny (is that a word? lol), I managed to get a photo of Bella in profile...so I made a page about her two faces...sometimes so so sweet and telling me she loves me and so on...and the next...a MONSTER appears and a lot of...NOOOO...I CAN...I WANT TO...is coming out of her mouth!!! Well she is soon to be 3 so I guess its normal!

and...the summer is over...time to put your hat on again (and you actually love it)!

Its been a while...

since my last blogpost,but oh my...time flies, can you belive that it´s soon to be October?! I can´t. Actually we have had great weather (besides the last few days) so it has felt like summer not fall.

I am still enjoying my new job and Bella seems to have accepted that she is going to have to stay longer days at kindergarten, well...she still clings to me when I drop her of and don´t want me to leave, but when it´s time for her daddy to pick her up, she´s all...."Daddy...please can I just play a little while before we go home", so I guess she is just fine!

And I actually got some time to scrap as well....we have a new fab designer over @ CatScrap. Joyce Paul. Her stuff is amazing, so easy and fun to play with, I can honestly say that none of these pages took me more than 30 min to make!

And then Fruit LoOp Sally has released some new stuff as well. This first page is about Bellas favorite song at the moment, actually she wants me to tell it to her as a story when she goes to bed. Its about a little boy that goes out in the forrest to pick blueberrys and he wants a friend cuz he feels lonely and gets really really happy when a bear comes along *lol*...she loves it. And I got so inspired so I might even do a songbook for her with all of her favorites?!

And this one I found an old picture from when we took Bella on her first racing, she was only 10 months old...she loved the cars but hated those earmuffs or what you call them!

I actually have scrapped some more but those I have to wait to show you, the kits are not released yet. I am in such an awe over all of these talanted designers...amazing stuff, soooo happy I get to play with it!!
